shape·line is a color coating that is applied to the lens edge before the lens is inserted into the frame
In an automated process, a highly resistant lacquer is applied to the edges of the milled lenses.
After the lenses have been inserted into the frame, you can see the applied colour instead of a white edge. This allows the lenses to blend in better with the overall look of the glasses.
