shape·line

Edge coating for aesthetic brilliance and optimal visual comfort

pinsel_edited_edited_edited_edited_edite

In an automated process, a highly resistant lacquer is applied to the edges of the milled lenses.

After the lenses have been inserted into the frame, you can see the applied colour instead of a white edge. This allows the lenses to blend in better with the overall look of the glasses.

Use the shape·line Sales Box to make choosing easier for your customers

The high-quality shapeline sales box contains coated lenses in all 15 shape·line colors, as well as two frames with one coated and one uncoated lens each. The lenses are provided with lasered color numbers and can be held up to the customer's desired frame during the sales talk. This allows the customer to see the color in the reflection pattern, exactly as it will look in the finished glasses.

In the high-quality imitation leather box with viewing window lid, the Sales Box Set can be used not only as a convincing sales aid, but also as an attractive store decoration.

Reduce edge reflections and visual stress with shape·line

Uncoated lens edges scatter incident light and cause the lens edge to light up. This is perceived repeatedly in the wearer's peripheral vision and causes visual stress. Light-absorbing shape·line coatings provide a remedy.

The GlareVIS demonstrator illustrates the absorption properties of shape·line in an impressive way.

The GlareVIS glare demonstrator includes a pair of glasses with one uncoated and one black coated lens. Both lenses are illuminated from the side by an LED to simulate everyday situations - wherever light hits the side of the glasses - at work, in the cinema or when driving at night. The edge of the uncoated lens is clearly illuminated, while the edge of the coated lens absorbs the light. In this way, the function and the significant increase in visual comfort of the shape·line coatings can be illustrated simply and memorably. The GlareVIS is battery-operated and is supplied with a suitable mains adapter. Thanks to its long battery life, it can be used not only as a sales aid but also as an eye-catcher in the sales area.
